Courtney graduated from North Adams High School in 2016 and went on to earn her Associate of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati Clermont College in 2022. She continued her education at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2025. Alongside her major, she also completed a minor in Construction Management through the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

Courtney began her time with the firm in the fall of 2022 as an Architectural Designer, contributing to a range of architectural projects. In May 2025, she joined McCarty Associates full time. She is preparing to take the Architect Registration Exams as she works toward becoming a licensed architect.
